The WAY of The Guardian
Did You Know?
The first followers of Yahshua; before branded as “christians”, were called and still called, “Natsarim”?
Even Yahshua himself was known as The Natsari (commonly spelled as Nazarene in Greek), as described in the writings of Matthew and Isaiah. ~ Matthew 2:23: "He shall be called a Nazarene" & Isaiah 11:1-2: “There shall come forth a Rod from the stem of Jesse, And a Branch shall grow out of his roots.” Many have contributed the word to Natsarim (misspelled as Nazarene) to the City of Nazareth. Being that Yahshua was partly raised in Nazareth of Galilee which was used as a symbolic direction of spiritual understanding by YAH.
Then who and/or what is Natsarim? - The Hebrew word "Natsarim" literally translates as watchmen, guardians, protectors; connotes preservers, and also means “branches” as in “descendants.” Immediately, we see the connection with Yahshua’s words about Him being the “Root”, and his students the “branches” the offspring of his teachings. We can be called branches and watchmen for this reason and during this season of darkness.
Yahshua said, in John 15:5-8 - “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.”
As a Guardian, what is the Mission? - The Way of the Guardian is outlined in Matthew 28:18-20: “Yahshua came and talked with them. He said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore, go and make people from all nations into disciples, immersing them into the reality of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And remember! I will be with you always, yes, even until the end of the age.”
This is not to be taken lightly: Hosea 4:6 ~ “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee…” Know your Creator, your Father, be re-created in his image by following THE WAY of his Son, The Natsari. Yahshua Ha-Mashiach (Messiah), who is the expressed image of the Father was sent that we may become the Natsarim, a branch of Yahshua and bear the Holy Light of YAH through us. To be anointed as a true Natsari of The WAY.
We worship in Spirit and Truth, follow the Gospel, enjoy the biblical festivals ascribed in the Bible and memorialize Holy events of the Messiah’s ministry. All to honor the Name and saving works of YAH.
